Losing count on the green is a universal golf headache, leaving many golfers searching for a simple solution to track strokes. After reviewing the market, I believe these bead counters offer a reliable alternative to digital gadgets. I found that while they look basic, the mechanical reliability of shifting a bead is often superior to finicky touchscreens. Let us rank these five options to see which earns a spot in your bag.

1. Zelerdo 10 Pack Golf Beads Count Stroke Score Counter
This set earns its ranking because it provides incredible bulk value for the price, ensuring you never run out of spares. It is the perfect choice if you frequently misplace your gear or want to outfit an entire group of playing partners.
In my view, the sheer quantity makes this the most economical choice for anyone who prefers to keep a permanent stash in every golf bag. You might find the build quality is purely functional, but for the cost, it is hard to complain.
Buyers frequently mention that having extras in the bag is a massive convenience.
The beads are noted for being lightweight and unobtrusive during a swing.
Users often report that the simple design is far less prone to breaking than complex electronic counters.

2. MUXSAM 1 Piece Golf Beads Score Counter with Clip (Blue)
If you are the type of golfer who likes matching your accessories to your club colors, this vibrant blue option is clearly built for you. It clips easily onto a cap or a belt, keeping your count accessible without needing to dig into your pockets.
I think the clip mechanism is the standout feature here, as it secures the device firmly to your clothing. Just keep in mind that the plastic clip can be a bit rigid, so handle it with some care when attaching it to thicker fabrics.
Reviewers appreciate that the blue color stands out clearly against most golf attire.
The sliding beads are described as having enough tension to stay in place between holes.
Many users favor this model for its simple, no-nonsense approach to stroke tracking.

3. MUXSAM 1 Piece Golf Beads Score Counter with Clip (Purple)
A unique aspect of this model is the distinctive purple hue, which makes it a conversation starter on the course while functioning as a standard counter. It functions exactly like the others, using a sliding bead system that requires zero batteries or charging.
I find that the purple shade is subtle enough to look professional while still being easy to spot if you drop it in the rough. It is a solid, middle-of-the-road choice that prioritizes aesthetics without sacrificing the core utility of a manual tracker.
Users often point out that the color makes it difficult to lose during a round.
The bead spacing is reported to be consistent, allowing for quick adjustments mid-round.
Buyers note that the compact size is ideal for those who dislike bulky golf accessories.

4. MUXSAM 1 Piece Golf Beads Score Counter with Clip (Red)
While some buyers find the small bead size a bit difficult to manipulate with large fingers, this red model remains a top seller for its high visibility. Its primary strength lies in its ability to be seen quickly, even in low light or deep grass.
I lean toward this version when I want to ensure my score is visible at a glance. Even though the beads can be a bit stiff at first, they usually loosen up after a few rounds of use, providing a dependable rhythm to your counting.
The red color is frequently praised for its high contrast on the course.
Some users suggest that the cord length is generous enough for various mounting preferences.
Consistent feedback indicates that the beads stay in their selected position until moved manually.

5. Zelerdo 4 Pack Golf Beads Count Stroke Score Counter, 4 Colors
Unlike the single-color options listed above, this four-pack variety set offers a range of colors that makes it my top pick for most golfers. It gives you the flexibility to color-code your bags or share extras with friends, which is a massive plus.
In my judgment, the versatile color selection makes this the most practical purchase for anyone who values variety. It manages to deliver the same reliable counting mechanism as the other models while providing the best overall value for the money.
Many buyers appreciate having different colors to distinguish between different types of play or bags.
The durability of the cord is often cited as a positive for long-term use.
Users frequently report that the compact packaging makes it a great gift for fellow golfers.

Choosing Between Them
The Zelerdo 4 Pack is my top recommendation because it provides a useful color variety for different golf bags, which is a major advantage over single-unit purchases. I believe this pack serves the casual golfer and the frequent player equally well, as it offers the best balance of price and utility.
I do want to offer one note of caution, as these manual bead counters all rely on the same basic design that lacks the modern convenience of digital displays. You are trading advanced features for mechanical simplicity, which means you will always need to remember to slide the beads yourself.
